What you'll do at Elekta?
The Manager of Cloud Ops & SRE is responsible for the maintenance and operations of Elekta’s global distributed cloud environments across multiple clouds.
This manager will be responsible for the support and 3rd Party support management of managed service components, systems onboarding, capacity planning, and business continuity/disaster recovery.
Reporting up through the Global Cloud Solutions team on operational metrics and driving Elekta’s cloud offerings forward to provide customers with a Fast stable cloud to deliver cancer treatment to patients across the globe.
This person will take a position in the infrastructure management team and will need to liaise with colleagues globally.
This leader will be able to manage a team to deploy and maintain high-availability, fault-tolerant private, public and hybrid cloud systems technology stacks and will enable these to most efficient and effective deployments of Elekta products.
This position will report to the Atlanta, GA office.
Responsibilities :
Manage and support Elekta’s cloud based technology systems meeting stringent performance and availability requirements of Elekta’s Oncology Informatics software, in alignment with approved architectural frameworks.
Ensure compliance to relevant security, operational, and governance frameworks globally, through close collaboration with relevant business partners in QRA, Legal and IT Governance.
Provide high-level technical operations and serve as escalation point for operational technical issues and provide supervision to prevent, detect, identify, and resolve incidents.
Report on IT Operational KPIs such as: availability, performance, provisioning, utilization, project status, auditing, and capacity planning for system and personnel resourcing.
Implement and maintain System Management Tools to provide monitoring and management of all Cloud infrastructure.
Display management and leadership qualities for the rollout of best-practices, and policies and procedures.
Adherence to applicable regulations for medical devices and governance controls.
Develop and oversee Network Operations, Service Desk, Event Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management and Change Management Processes for all Services. Working experience with ITIL is preferred.
Maintain, audit, and harden security policies and procedures.
Implement Customer Self-Service options for user administration, change control notification, and reporting.
Conduct System Outage Analysis to prevent the reoccurrence of incidents.
Manage escalations to business line, engineering and/or cloud architecture teams.
Qualifications:
Must be able to read, speak, write, and comprehend the English language.
BS or MS in CS, CE, or equivalent experience.
10 years-experience with specific knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies.
Strong experience with networking, security, virtualization and data center technologies (Cisco, VMware, Citrix, etc).
Strong experience with Citrix technologies
Strong experience with MS Azure and/or AWS
Strong experience with IDAAS technologies such as OKTA and Azure AD
Proven experienced in project management and ITIL
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, internally as well as with customers, with people in technical and non-technical roles.
Able to work to deadlines in a sometimes intense and fast–paced environment.
Ability to manage budgets and work within the business controls associated to these.
