The A.C. Coy company has an immediate opening for a Manager - Cost Accounting. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, experience using a larger ERP such as Oracle or SAP, and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Prepare and conduct month end close procedures
- Tracking, preparing, and ensuring the integrity of inventory reports
- Drive the effort to identify and execute unit cost reduction efforts
- Lead financial audits
- Supervise and mentor direct reports and ensure their professional development
- Evaluate long-term commercial contracts
- Act as an expert with strategic margins, Oracle, and Hyperion
- Lead the annual budget process and review burden rates
- Provide accurate decision support to facilitate business solutions
Education Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA/MBA/CMA preferred
Experience Required
- 5 years of accounting experience, with several years of cost accounting including standard costing systems and budgets
- Experience with large ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with data base query tools such as Access, Hyperion, Essbase, etc.
