Job Title: Manager, Creative Excellence Activation
Position Overview:
The role of Manager, Creative Excellence will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the creative vision of the Opella brand portfolio. This position will be responsible for delivering creative that modernizes our brands and shapes them to be fit for culture. Along with driving creative excellence within the Opella organization, he/she will run point on brand Public Relations (PR) for agency relationships, strategy and execution helping deliver culture and social first brand ideas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creative development, strategic thinking, public relations and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Excellence
" He/she will help elevate creativity & creative effectiveness across all consumer touchpoints for a portion of the Opella brands
" Inspire and guide internal teams and agency partners to foster a future forward approach for content and creative development shifting our brands to be culture and social first
" He/She will be expected to work with the Senior Manager, Creative Excellence Activation and Procurement to drive effectiveness and effiency in creative development, delivering best-in-class content/creative on brief, time and within budget.
" He/She will partner with the Experience Planning, Martec & CMI teams acting as the Content & Creative lead (for assigned brands) on the Inter-Agency Teams (IATs) and Experience Planning Workshops.
" Analyze the effectiveness of creative and provide insights for continuous improvement and optimizations
" Manage agency relationships to ensure delivery of high-quality content/creative
Brand PR
" He/She will own Strategic development and implementation of brand PR (for the Opella brands he/she is responsible for) to drive brand talkability, awareness and cultural relevance
" Partner closely with Brand teams and agency partners on development and execution of campaigns inclusive of creative AOR collaboration
" Oversee day-to-day management of agency partners, including budget oversight, timelines and execution of strategies
" He/She will partner with agencies as lead but work with AORs, Brands & Head of Communications to identify, submit and promote awards across Creativity, PR & Innovation.
Job Qualifications:
" Bachelor s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
" 5 10 years of experience, major packaged goods or pharmaceutical account experience at client or media agency
" Thorough knowledge & experience across of all areas of creative & content development including but not limited to briefing, creative feedback, production management, postproduction and talents right management.
" Strong project management skills, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
" Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work.
" Experience across all paid/earned/owned platforms especially Brand/Retail.com, eComm Content Development & the major social networks (FB/IG, YT, TikTok & Pinterest)
" Communications/Public Relations experience that includes critical and strategic thinking.
" Deep understanding of the Public Relations discipline and how it dove-tails and can accelerate business goals.
" Strong written, verbal presentation skills
" Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, diplomacy, credibility and ability to negotiate. Position requires extensive interaction with internal and external senior leaders.
" Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
" Autonomy and ability to balance long-term strategic priorities with short-term business needs
