We’re constantly developing new security systems, analyzing current systems for vulnerabilities, and handling cyber-attacks in an efficient and effective manner worldwide.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Manager, Cybersecurity Network Engineer to lead network security and log management initiatives within the global cybersecurity engineering team. This role will focus on building, implementing, optimizing, and managing critical security solutions to protect the company’s data, systems, and networks. The ideal candidate will drive the development and execution of cybersecurity policies and best practices while mentoring a team of engineers. In addition to network security and log management, this role may include oversight of other cybersecurity engineering functions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of select network security solutions, such as SWG, IPS, WAF, NAC, packet capture, SSL Decryption, and other critical tools.
- Oversee log management and monitoring systems, ensuring effective detection and analysis of security events.
- Build, configure, and maintain network and log management tools, including policy creation and tuning for optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate with Enterprise IT to ensure security systems are integrated effectively to monitor for threats and vulnerabilities across the organization.
- Develop, maintain, and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and metrics to track the health and effectiveness of cybersecurity operations.
- Mentor, guide, and manage a team of cybersecurity engineers, fostering growth and professional development.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders, including Program teams, Product Leaders, and Senior Technology Leaders, to align cybersecurity strategies with business objectives.
- Support dashboards, reports, and alerts for real-time monitoring and reporting of cybersecurity metrics.
- Proactively monitor and manage the health and wellness of cybersecurity solutions, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2-4 years of management experience.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, able to collaborate across teams and influence key stakeholders.
- Experience managing and mentoring engineering teams, fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with Cloud IaaS/PaaS environments, with a preference for experience with Azure.
