ROLE SUMMARY
The Manager of Digital Budget Operations is a part of Pfizer’s Media Budget Operations within Global Media. This role is responsible for executing accounts payable activities for our in-house activation team, developing streamlined budget processes, managing financial operations, and enforcing compliance with financial processes. This individual will play a critical role in implementing financial standards and driving media budget optimizations within our in-house Search team. Leveraging budget, financial, and accounts payable acumen, along with project management skills, media expertise, and interpersonal skills, this role will execute flawless budget activities. Additionally, this role will develop and champion core media and financial governance best practices across our in-house team, working in collaboration with our internal and external stakeholders.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage accounts payable activities for the in-house activation team, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. This includes monitoring the billing and invoicing process to ensure billing accuracy and confirming billing details with the activation team and media vendor.
Take proactive measures to ensure accurate and timely invoicing by conducting regular quality assurance checks, diligently tracking invoice reconciliation, and conducting thorough reviews of financial data.
Spearhead the development of new tracking and reporting templates, actively contributing to the preparation of tools and processes for future planning and analysis.
Provide reporting to media agency to ingest into our media spend dashboard and forecast.
Define, communicate and implement new billing/budget processes to ensure accurate and real time reporting.
Drive the development and maintenance of Pfizer and Global Media policies and procedures to ensure strong financial stewardship practices.
Manage the in-house plan-to-play workflow, administering the Prisma system and leading billing, reconciliation, and accounts payable reporting for in-house media teams.
Collaborate closely with the in-house media activation team and Finance department to effectively oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of Pfizer's investment activities.
Become a proficient user of Pfizer's internal and external finance platforms, leveraging them to streamline financial operations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience; OR a master's degree with at least 3 years of experience; OR as associate's degree with 8 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 10 years of relevant experience.
3+ years of relevant work experience in a large matrix organization within finance, media, marketing, or operations.
Previous experience in accounts payable is required; agency experience is a plus.
Advance level skill in Microsoft Excel.
Keen attention to details and deep budget acumen.
Demonstrated effective collaboration with teams across an organization to drive processes and operations.
Comfort with ambiguity; ability to act without having the total picture.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience with Prisma is preferred.
Experience in media, marketing, or media agency operations, particularly in roles requiring close partnership with biddable investment teams.
Previous in-housing experience.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $93,500.00 to $155,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 12.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
