The salary range for this position is $90,134 - $112,668 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. POSITION SUMMARY
A Digital Designer on the Digital Creative Team creates visually appealing and effective designs for a variety of digital platforms including brand websites, email campaigns and performance marketing. They work closely with Senior Digital Designers & Directors, Copywriters, Ecommerce, Global Creative and Brand/Marketing teams to understand project objectives and drive innovation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports the Digital Design Director by providing creative solutions that meet business objectives
- Develop pixel-perfect, highly innovative, refined digital assets under fast-paced timelines
- Drives design projects on time with the highest quality of standards
- Demonstrates solid understanding of typography, photography, graphic design, digital design and motion graphics a plus; ensures all assets adhere to brand guidelines
- Owns presentation of assigned projects to cross functional teams for feedback and final approval
- Supports Digital Creative Team in producing final files for release, with careful consideration for proper digital file types and compression
- Develops strong partnerships with Brand Management, Marketing, Program Management and Digital (E-Commerce/Product/Performance Marketing) teams
- Design marketing emails, site assets, user experience, static and animated paid social ads and digital banners
REQUIREMENTS
- College degree; BA or BFA with a focus on Graphic Design or Communications Design preferred
- 4-7 years of design experience in digital design focused on one or more of the following: E-Commerce web design, UX/UI, email and paid social
- Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite on Mac Platform (especially Photoshop, InDesign, and After Effects) and Figma
- Familiarity with Premiere Pro and Shopify, a plus
- Strong understanding of web UI standards, grid system, responsive design frameworks
- Understanding of digital trends and best practices for responsive web design, marketing emails and performance marketing
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and an interest in experimentation to meet growing trends
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ease and polish in presenting in a variety of settings: small/large groups, managers, formal presentations
- Solid organizational skills, detail-oriented; time management skills, ability to juggle priorities
- Strong relationship-building skills; ability to work with a variety of people in various disciplines
- Understanding of current fashion and beauty trends
- Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and meet very tight deadlines
