Manager, Distribution and Inventory - 1-800-Flowers Family of Brands

The Manager, Distribution and Inventory is responsible for the overall operation, execution, and planning of the facility with a primary focus on distribution and inventory management. Emphasis is placed on managing inbound/outbound, storage, inventory movement, cycle counting, holiday preparedness and flawless execution of holiday shipping. Maintaining safe facility operations, as well as adhering to Federal, State and company policies. The reporting of issues to Senior Warehouse Manager. Maintaining accurate inventory levels. As well as cross train members to perform other activities not assigned to them on a primary basis. Other duties include receipt, inspection, order processing, and fulfillment of direct to consumer product.

* Implement controls to meet KPIs
* Continuous improvement
* Peak schedule changes




* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related field or 3-5 years relevant leadership experience in an e-commerce fulfillment and/or warehouse setting
* Experienced in managing deliveries/pickups
* Experienced in Inventory management
* Proficient in using and understanding WMS systems
* Natural ability to lead by example
* Experienced in process improvement and lean management
* Ability to work in cold temperatures for an extended amount of time
* Ability to work on your feet for an extended amount of time
* Forklift and electric pallet jack certified
* Written and verbal communication skills
* Intermediate computer skills are a must
* 2 years of Microsoft Office experience
* Bilingual in Spanish a plus
* Physically able to lift 50 lbs
