About the Job
We are currently looking for a Manager, Dixie Board Planning for the Dixie business supporting the Plates and Cups Businesses. This position is charged with balancing the 24-month supply and demand plan and communicating those decisions to stakeholders. This role will also lead the process transformation for updating the technology and tools utilized to balance the Dixie network for both internal and external suppliers.
Location: This is a hybrid role based out of our headquarters in Atlanta, GA.
What You Will Do
- Lead Dixe Board S&OP process by developing a 2 year strategy that aligns the supply chain activities with the business objectives and market demand for all Dixie board. The plan should optimize tradeoffs between service, cost, and asset efficiency for both internal and external suppliers.
- Be an active leader in developing a fully supported capability for board raw material planning of the existing tool (OMP Network Designer, Operational Planning, SAP) to drive a proactive, analytical approach for inventory management and demand analysis to ensure customer inventory levels are optimal for GP's Dixie board business.
- Advocate, communicate value, and drive improvements in tools, processes, and metrics through the Supply Planning organization. Leverage and model Principle Based Management to deliver long-term superior results.
- Enable Service Excellence by ensuring Category demand fulfillment model is designed to deliver competitive service at optimized cost. Use forecast trends to spot patterns, risks, and opportunities.
- Enable growth by identifying and resolving gaps that optimize manufacturing and distribution costs.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally by developing and maintaining relationships with key business leaders to enable improved decision making. Effectively gain alignment across a dispersed stakeholder group including Category, Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, Logistics, and Supply Chain.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree OR 3+ years of experience in the supply chain industry
- Experience in Microsoft Office Software (Excel - sorting data, creating tables, and creating graphs)
- Experience influencing teams and developing consensus through cross-functional collaboration
- Experience identifying and delivering both incremental and transformational process improvement
- Experience presenting reports, proposals, plans, etc. to leadership in written or verbal communication
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience in the consumer goods industry in production planning
- 3+ years of Supply Chain or Manufacturing experience
- Experience utilizing SAP/ OMP planning software
- Experience implementing technology process improvements
