As a member of the People team, you will provide HR Compliance and Employee Relations support for our team members in the Americas. This role will also support projects and programs relating to diversity & inclusion, HR policies, employee relations, and team member engagement
Working from our Santa Monica, New York City or Seattle office, you will collaborate with team members across the People, Legal, and Integrity & Compliance teams and report to the Head of Employee Relations & HR Compliance. What you’ll do:Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, allegations of misconduct or policy violations ensuring impartiality and adherence to legal and company standardsPrepare comprehensive investigative reports with clear findings and recommend appropriate disciplinary actions Manage reasonable accommodation process for employees and applicants and evaluate requests ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulationsCollaborate with the employment legal team to ensure compliance with legal requirements and to address any legal risks or concernsOversee mandatory harassment training programs, ensuring all employees receive appropriate training, and monitor the effectiveness of the programsEnsure compliance with OFCCP requirements and develop strategies to promote diversity, inclusion and equal employment opportunitiesHandle regulatory reporting requirements related to employment and workforce data including EEO-1, California pay equity, and other mandated reportsMaintain up to date knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and inform recommendationsAct as a consultant to HRBPs and HR COEs providing guidance on employee relations and HR compliance issuesKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Demonstrated expertise in investigating complaints of discrimination, harassment and retaliation Subject matter expertise in accommodation laws and experience working with the various laws that impact HRStrong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environmentContinuous improvement mindset to improve company’s efforts to mitigate risk and increase efficiencyAbility to ensure compliance while also maintaining company cultureStrong interpersonal and cross-functional team skills, with demonstrable track record to influence and communicate at all levels of the organizationProven program and project management skillsExcellent writing, presentation, and training skillsMinimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in a related fieldMinimum 5+ years of experience in Employee Relations, EEO or employment and labor lawPreferred qualifications:Masters/PHR or a JDIf you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please don’t be shy and provide us some information."Default Together" Policy at Snap: At Snap Inc
