We are searching for a talented Manager - Facilities - EOC
Hours: 40hrs
Shift: Day Shift, 7:00am - 5:00pm
Location: Tobey Hospital - Wareham, MA

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
Responsibilities:Reports to the Director of Facility - Environment of Care for their respective region. This individual will take pride and ownership in their regional facilities and will provide high quality and responsive support services. This person will partner with support service leadership to ensure collaborating and coordination of the frontline teams to ultimately provide the highest level of service for Southcoast's patients, employees, and visitors. Responsible for the safe, economical, and efficient operation of the hospital plant including maintenance of hospital buildings and reginal properties, grounds, equipment, and the distribution of steam, hot water, plumbing, electricity, air conditioning, refrigeration and other utility services.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field or the equivalent experience required.
- 2nd Class Stationary Fireman's License or higher is preferred.
- Must possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Must be qualified to determine whether it is safe to permit operating components of utility systems to be maintained in an alternative manner. 3 to 5 years of related work experience required.
- CHFM (Certified Hospital Facilities Manager) certification preferred.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
