Manager, Americas West Field Applications Engineering

Are you a technical expert and leader passionate about building extraordinary teams? As the Manager of Field Applications Engineering, you’ll spearhead a diverse team across the Western US. Your mission is to deliver leadership and technical mentorship to Applications Engineers engaged at every stage of the sales journey. Responsibilities
+ Lead and mentor a team of highly skilled Field Applications Engineers, fostering a culture of inclusion, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
+ Provide expert technical mentorship and support to Application Engineers, ensuring seamless communication and problem-solving throughout the sales cycle.
+ Develop and implement strategic plans to improve team performance, engagement, customer satisfaction, and achievement of challenging sales targets.
+ Dedication to be in market with local teams to identify business opportunities and empower and mentor the team.
+ Monitor and analyze team performance metrics, utilizing data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
+ Champion a shared vision and sense of purpose by encouraging an atmosphere of collective enthusiasm and forward-looking optimism within the team.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Product Line teams to improve processes, influence product development, and drive innovation.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
+ Exhibits a proven record in technical support, field applications, or commercial operations, coupled with established proficiency in demonstrating test and measurement instruments.
+ Possesses robust leadership capabilities to guide, nurture, and empower high-achieving technical teams, paired with outstanding strategic and analytical prowess for data-informed decisions, complemented by superior communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with customers, colleagues, and cross-disciplinary teams.
+ Demonstrates keen business insight and a solid history of strategic territory management, consistently meeting or surpassing sales goals.
+ Resides in West or Central region of the US and willing to travel 25%-50% to engage directly with customers and field teams to contribute, mentor, and support.

The salary range for this sales position (inclusive of sales incentives/commissions in local currency) is 150,400.00 - 279,200.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
