Primary Purpose of this Position:
A key member of the Ball Finance team, reporting to Director, Financial Planning, Analysis. You and the team you lead, will work alongside the Beverage Packaging North and Central America Division to deliver key financial analysis and insights. This includes monthly, quarterly and annual requirements, as well as ad-hoc requests. You will be an essential partner to the business, providing financial consulting and will prepare executive financial reports and divisional financial performance reporting.
What will you be responsible for?
+ Manages the forecasting, planning and analysis process and delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and related ad hoc requests on a timely basis.
+ Coordinates the quarterly forecasting process and the annual budgeting process resulting in the development of the P&L.
+ Coordinates with the Operations Finance team on forecasting for plant costs.
+ Advises senior management on critical decision-making, including cost recommendations to maximize value. This includes performing financial modeling, evaluating various scenarios and sensitivity analysis.
+ Ensures the effective delivery of analyses of actual results against forecasts to key management stakeholders while working closely with the Accounting team on financial results.
+ Drives standardization of processes, continuous improvement within the finance function and systems management.
+ Leads the way for management of data in the FP&A organization, including use of data visualization tools.
+ Leads a team of 2 Financial Analysts.
What are we looking for?
+ Broad training in a related professional field usually acquired through college or graduate level education or work related experience.
+ Job related experience for 5 years minimum.
+ Ability to make detailed presentations of financial analysis, including on projects and a variety of business problems to executive management
+ Ability to analyze and interpret data and make recommendations
+ Working knowledge of the following areas: finance, accounting, Economic Value Added (EVA), business and economic principles and practices, financial modeling, Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, JDE Enterprise One, and Essbase, preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
+ Hybrid On-Site Work Environment: Based in Colorado, this position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site for three (3) or more days per work week (with core collaboration days of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). [Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.]
+ Hiring Salary Range: $93,100 - $142,140 (Salary to be determined by the applicants education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
+ This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
