The Senior FP&A Manager role requires a strong manufacturing and finance background and the ability to harness this knowledge to navigate complex business issues. Willingness to dive deep into the details while keeping an eye on the bigger picture will be critical to finding creative solutions and providing insights to the Company’s leadership and business partners. Working with the CFO as well as other cross-functional team members, develop processes and tools with and through which business data is transformed into useful information for decision making. Processes and tools should be implemented consistently across all locations and functions to allow for individual location reporting as well as seamless consolidations

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:
- Help implement standard costing methodology throughout the manufacturing environment to allow accurate measurement of cost drivers as well as individual product profitability
- Own and manage the product margin profitability analysis and commentary, focused on product costing as well as packaging, shipping/distribution, and warehouse fulfillment costs
- Prepare analysis of price and margin as requested by Commercial Organization. Prepare quarterly price index adjustments
- Build and manage comprehensive financial models for the manufacturing environments, which will drive annual plans, rolling forecasts, and long-range plans; recommend updates to the budget and forecast and help identify ways to continually optimize our cost profile
- Identify cost improvement opportunities based on the review and analysis of plant activity data; implement improvements that capture the opportunities identified and track results.
- Actively support operations deliverables for SIOP.
- Work with functional leaders to assist in the management of the individual department costs
Required Experience
- BA/BS degree Finance/Accounting, or Business; MBA
- At least 8 - 12 years of experience in operational finance, or similar environment
- Strong base knowledge of finance, operations, and accounting principles
- Proven track record of creating robust analyses that translates into business decisions
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated strong financial and administrative skills with the ability to grow, motivate and lead teams
- Proven ability to work with all levels of management and foster relationships with financial and operational personnel
- Must be able to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and organize workload to meet organizational timelines in a fast paced, very high-growth environment
- Experience in Oracle or other ERP systems
Essential Skills & Knowledge
- Expert proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with BI tools a must
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful analysis for non-technical audiences
