Description Within Amazon, The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is responsible for creating the spaces that inspire Amazonians to make history. The globally diverse team manages Amazon's corporate offices in more than 60 countries. GREF provides real estate transactions expertise, business partnering, space and occupancy planning, design and construction, capital investment program management, facility maintenance, and operations all contributing to the employee experience and leveraging places and programs to enable culture to thrive at Amazon. We are seeking an experienced communications professional to drive integrated communications strategies and campaigns to support GREF's business priorities and initiatives. This individual will be well-versed in all facets of communications, with the ability to work at both the strategic and tactical level to help us inform, inspire and engage Amazonians at large, business partners, and our internal GREF employees. We are seeking an experienced internal communications professional to drive GREF employee communications strategies and campaigns to inform, engage and inspire our large and diverse GREF employee workforce. This individual will be well-versed in all facets of internal communications, with the ability to work at both the strategic and tactical level. The ideal candidate will have: - BA in communications, PR, journalism, marketing, business or equivalent 7+ years professional experience. - Experience working for large, matrixed organizations. - Experience developing end-to-end communications plans. - Experience in internal, employee and/or executive communications. - Strong writer, strong written and verbal communications skills. - Experience using data, metrics and insights to drive comms plans and measure ROI - Experience working across global teams in multiple locales - Experience producing content for diverse communications channels - Experience producing events and running large-scale meetings - Experience managing multiple stakeholders and working cross-functionally. Key job responsibilities - Develop and manages the execution of strategic internal communication plans and the implementation of communications tactics related to ROB, operations, org design, technology, customer insights and employee engagement. - Engage regularly with cross-functional GREF stakeholders to understand their key priorities, track milestones and timelines, proactively identify internal comms opportunities, and provide expert communications guidance and counsel. - Develop narratives, messaging and other various visual and written communications assets. Review and edit program materials to ensure consistency in GREF brand voice and Amazon writing standards. - Elevate GREF storytelling by developing content for communications channels such as the GREF Hub, GREF People, GREF Slack, etc. - Manage complex, fast-moving, and unexpected communications challenges with an ability to look around corners for to plan ahead and mitigate risk - Exercise extremely high judgment, particularly in narrow timeframes. - Roll up sleeves and get work done, even when at times it's outside the scope of the job. - Employ both proactive and reactive strategic thinking and decision making - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of internal communications - Continuously measure, evaluate, and modify communications plans and tactics to improve impact and effectiveness - Developing a deep understanding of the GREF's vision, mission, programs and initiatives, and organizational culture. - Contribute to the overall GREF Communications culture and comradery, sharing comms best practices and helping to mentor others. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
