Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Medical Affairs Manager to join our Global Medical Affairs team who is passionate about person-centric HIV care and treatment. Candidate must be a self-starter with a proven track record of success in prior roles.
This individual will play an instrumental part in helping the Medical Affairs organization support current HIV Daily Oral Treatment strategies.
The Manager will report to the Director and will work collaboratively with the Global and US Medical Affairs teams, as well as cross-functional partners.
Core responsibilities include but are not limited to:
As a content manager, serves as a key contributor and knowledge expert for Global HIV Treatment Medical Affairs
Manages projects related to analysis of new, emerging data and determines relevant information to incorporate into medical content trainings
Participates in Medical Affairs global activities including management of conference data and medical sub team meetings
Manages the creation, review, and updating of assigned Medical Affairs slide decks, local and global response documents and other medical training deliverables
Helps the Global Medical Affairs team develop the global Plan of Action and ensures alignment of team activities
Develops and maintains HIV Sharepoint Page to disseminate information on current and future HIV treatment products
Provides ad hoc support to globalization sub-groups such as topical decks and HIV databases
Supports HIV Medical Affairs Advisory Programs, as needed
Works collaboratively with Medical Scientists, Medical Information, Clinical Research and Clinical Pharmacology to support responses to medical inquiries
Carries projects to completion, anticipating obstacles and difficulties that may arise,
resolving them in collaborative manner
Specific Knowledge, Education, and Experience Requirements:
MD, DO, NP, PA, PhD, PharmD or other advanced health care degree
1-3 years industry experience preferred
Relevant clinical and scientific experience in HIV needed
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills are required, with experience in preparing and delivering PowerPoint presentations
Committed to continuing education to maintain knowledge base
Ability to synthesize findings and clearly articulate implications from multiple sources of information and to formulate strong, actionable recommendations
Must be capable of working with a level of autonomy and independence
Aptitude to work collaboratively and demonstrated experience working on cross-functional teams
