Job Details
We are seeking a Health Center Manager to lead operations for a healthcare facility in Huron, CA. This role involves overseeing day-to-day administrative and professional operations, including managing staff, ensuring compliance, and providing high-quality, low-cost healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the health center, supervising staff and coordinating patient services.
- Oversee budgeting, monitor expenses, and ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff to ensure optimal performance and patient care.
- Serve as the primary representative for the health center in interactions with regulatory agencies and community organizations.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations and management to meet quality care and customer service goals.
- Support the center’s participation in the Quality Improvement Program and maintain effective communication with external agencies and the community.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Services, or related field preferred. Extensive experience (10+ years) may substitute for a degree.
- Experience: At least 5 years of relevant work experience, with 1 year in management or 2 years in a supervisory role, ideally in a healthcare or ambulatory setting.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
- Licenses: Valid CA driver’s license required.
