A Brief Overview
Under the direction of the Director of Health Partner Services (HPS), this position will manage the operational aspects of the captive practices of Holy Name Medical Center. This role focuses on ensuring efficient and effective daily operations, including cost management, quality control, and delivery systems. The Manager of Operations will support the Director in implementing strategic initiatives but will primarily focus on operational execution. The Manager will foster a team environment conducive to professional growth and will work collaboratively with HPS staff and the Director of Revenue Cycle.

A Brief Overview
Under the direction of the Director of Health Partner Services (HPS), this position will manage the operational aspects of the captive practices of Holy Name Medical Center. This role focuses on ensuring efficient and effective daily operations, including cost management, quality control, and delivery systems. The Manager of Operations will support the Director in implementing strategic initiatives but will primarily focus on operational execution. The Manager will foster a team environment conducive to professional growth and will work collaboratively with HPS staff and the Director of Revenue Cycle.
What you will do
- Support the Director in strategic planning and program development within HPS and the captive practices of Holy Name Medical Center.
- Participate in planning for construction and renovation projects for Health Partners Services and all captive practices.
- Assist the Director of Revenue Cycle in identifying and implementing opportunities for revenue enhancement.
- Facilitate the development of customer service standards and initiatives to enhance service quality.
- Supervise practice staff, manage personnel records, and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Coordinate the ordering of clerical and medical supplies and maintain office equipment.
- Oversee the proper maintenance of all offices and coordinate with landlords for facility management.
- Assist in the design and implementation of marketing strategies in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Review and approve captive bills, trend payments, and assist in preparing the annual budget with the Director of Revenue Cycle and the Executive Director.
- Ensure complete charge capture and timely charge entry in collaboration with the Director of Revenue Cycle.
- Address and resolve patient complaints related to operations.
- Oversee the implementation and operational issues related to practice management and EMR software.
- Ensure appropriate setup of new Tax ID numbers, insurance linkage, and other tasks necessary to onboard new practices.
- Develop budgets and growth plans for HPS and the captive practices of Holy Name Medical Center.
- Set and achieve goals in areas such as charge lag, bad debt, and accounts receivable.

Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Master's Degree preferred
Experience Qualifications
- 5-7 years of relevant experience required
- 3-5 years of physician practice management experience required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficiency in leadership, organizational skills, interpersonal communication, business development, and staff development
