SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
We are seeking a skilled Manager, HRIS to join our HR team. The Manager, HRIS will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Human Resources Information Systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our organization and contribute to the efficient operation of our HR processes. This role requires a strong understanding of HRIS platforms, data analysis and reporting, project management, and a strategic mindset to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Management and Optimization:
- Manage the implementation and day-to-day operation and administration of the HRIS platform.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security within all HR systems.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and maximize the use of HR technology, including AI, to improve efficiency.
- Lead system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations in collaboration with IT and HR teams.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Develop and maintain HR analytics and reporting capabilities to support data-driven decision-making.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for HR and business leaders.
- Interpret data trends and provide insights to inform HR strategies and initiatives.
Compliance and Governance:
- Ensure HRIS compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
- Implement and maintain data governance protocols and best practices.
- Conduct audits and regular checks to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to HR staff and end-users on HRIS functionalities and best practices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving HRIS-related issues.
Project Management:
- Support HRIS projects from initiation through implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define scope, and execute project plans.
Requirements:
- Minimum/preferred experience required for the position:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in HRIS administration, preferably in the energy industry.
- Strong technical proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
- Solid understanding of HR processes across the whole employee lifecycle, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and compliance requirements.
- Project management experience, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels with prompt follow-up and high degree of confidentiality.
- People-management experience is a plus.

Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment with occasional work within or outside of a complex construction environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers/fax, filing cabinets, etc.This is primarily a sedentary role; however, the incumbent must be able to stand and/or sit continuously to perform all essential job functions for a full shift.

· Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. as required in order to lift files, boxes and office equipment as necessary.
· Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bending, standing on a stool, or climbing as necessary to perform these functions.

· The incumbent is required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
· Ability to move throughout all areas of each office/site location and facilities.
