Position Summary
The Supply Chain Manager of Solutions and Delivery will be responsible for leading the implementation of a multi-year strategy plan for Distribution and Transportation Services strategic projects valuing 20-40 Million annually in value generation. The primary focus will be fostering a culture conducive to the success of rolling out D&T strategic initiatives that optimize our network, encompassing over 20 regional Distribution Campuses and 2000+ associates. They are responsible to manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution, deliver cost savings, enhance operational efficiency, and enable seamless supply chain operation.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute a comprehensive multi-year strategy plan for Distribution and Transportation Services strategic projects, aligning with the organization's overall objectives.
- Support an integrated program of change initiatives across supply chain and functional areas.
- Creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that drive team adoption and minimize resistance.
- Manage project resources from cross-functional teams, interfacing with project leaders, technology specialists, professional staff, vendors and consultants.
- Lead and manage a team of professionals involved in project management, solution design, implementation, and delivery.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, including senior management, to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives that will have a significant impact on the network.
- Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from scoping and planning to execution and post-implementation review.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to optimize supply chain processes, reduce operating expenses, and enhance overall performance.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify innovative solutions and best practices for distribution and transportation services.
- Translate business goals into actionable plans for the team to execute.
- Address gaps and remove roadblocks to ensure the team can successfully deliver on their goals.
- Collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries to ensure alignment and synergies with key stakeholders to facilitate decision making.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, providing timely updates and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and accountability within the Solutions and Delivery team.
Knowledge
- Extensive detailed knowledge of end to end grocery suply chain
- Advanced project management experience
- Advanced finacial and KPI experience
Skills
- High proficieny in financial and budget planning
- Strong understanding of volume and capacity planning
- Expert in project management with a focus on Lean/six sigma and formal PM strategies
- Strong comunication and negotiation experience

- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale strategic projects within the supply chain domain.
- Strong knowledge of distribution and transportation operations, industry trends, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve results.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience
Experience
- Bachelor degree: Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on distribution and transportation services.
