The Manager, Integrated Analytics - Darzalex position is responsible for generating, integrating, and translating insights from data analytics into growth opportunities that shape decisions and drive organizational action for the Darzalex brand within the Oncology Business Unit. This position will partner closely with cross functional partners and serves as an internal consultant to the Sales & Marketing team and senior leaders. This position plays a leading role in advising and counseling management in the development and evaluation of new and existing business strategies and tactics and as a result, shares accountability for business results.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, design, and execute integrated analytics informing brand strategy and tactical execution
- Leverage disparate data sources to address key business questions and uncover business opportunities
- Determine optimal analytical approaches and statistical methods, identify appropriate supplier partners, foster strong partnerships in the context of resources, timing, and overall project goals
- Develop new insights and actionable recommendations and influence business partners at all levels to incorporate in decision making.
- Identify, develop, and automate key performance metrics to measure and monitor performance
- Serve as a leader in integrating data and analytics (national, subnational, payer) with cross functional findings and insights developed by peers across the Strategy, Analytics & Transformation (StAT)
- Integrate research & medical insights into performance diagnostics & analytical projects to drive a holistic view of the customer and market
- Leverage and manage external partners to support internal efforts, where appropriate
- Champion the development and implementation of analytical approaches and methods that are innovative, drive efficiencies, and contribute to broader sharing of best practices
- Demonstrate leadership courage in order to set boundaries and ensure time is spent on the most critical/ high value projects
- Drive a culture of simplicity within the analytics function to ensure business processes are streamlined and partners are provided on-demand, actionable insights
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, advanced degree preferred
Experience and Skills:
Required:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience required in analytics, data science, or consulting
- High technical acumen, with direct tangible experience querying, drawing insights, and delivering business recommendations from longitudinal patient claims and lab datasets (e.g. Komodo, Symphony, MMIT, Quest, etc.)
- Working knowledge of foundational pharmaceutical industry datasets (e.g. IQVIA DDD, Xponent, EDI 852/867, etc.) and their practical applications to brand performance
- Deep proficiency with the following applications (Dataiku, SQL Workbench, Microsoft Excel, Tableau, PowerBI)
- Comfort in storytelling and developing effective presentations through compelling visualizations of data with comprehensive and impactful recommendations and solutions that drive key decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in storytelling, data visualization and developing effective presentations
- Ability to work collaboratively with marketing and sales teams, and cross-functional partners.
Preferred:
- Ability to execute basic statistical methods such as Test and Control, Regression, etc
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (model selection and hypothesis testing, statistical inference, promotional response modeling etc.) and experience with real-world applications
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques (e.g. supervised, unsupervised, deep learning) and their real-world advantages and drawbacks
Other:
- This position is based in Horsham, PA on a hybrid in-office schedule and will require up to 5% domestic travel
