The Manager of Integration and Operational Development role at Intelisys manages a team of developers dedicated to integration with external services via APIs, operational efficiency and automation development, data engineering, and integration of AI. The Manager of Integration and Operational Development role demands a dynamic leader with a strong technical background, responsible for guiding the team to deliver scalable and efficient solutions. The successful candidate will navigate projects utilizing primarily Python and Node.js, and AWS-based microservices as necessary to ensure alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership
- Lead and inspire a dynamic team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement in their work.
- Strategic Project Oversight
- Oversee the development and implementation of strategic projects aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Provide guidance on initiatives related to integration, operational efficiency, automation, and data engineering efforts.
- Technical Strategy Development
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technical strategy, staying updated on emerging technologies and trends to ensure the team leverages the latest advancements.
- Explore opportunities for the implementation of AI initiatives, aligning them with existing tools and collaborating with external AI providers.
- Solution Leadership
- Lead initiatives for seamless API integration with external services.
- Drive the development of solutions optimizing operational processes, enhancing efficiency, and supporting effective data engineering practices.
- Project Planning and Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and prioritize projects based on strategic goals.
- Allocate resources effectively for successful project execution and timely delivery.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and enhancing operational development processes.
Reporting Relationships:
- Position Reports to: VP, Digital Tools
- Direct reports: integration and development team
Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Python and Node.js.
- Experience implementing AWS-based microservices architectures.
- Proven track record of leading successful integration projects.
- Solid understanding of operational efficiency, automation, and data engineering principles.
- Expertise in designing, building and connecting to modern APIs, (eg. REST, GraphQL)
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience in a technical role.
Preferred:
- College degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in AI-related projects.
- Experience with PHP, JavaScript, React, C#
- Familiarity with modern development practices, including Agile methodologies.
- Experience in telecommunications or related industries.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for long periods of time.
- Ability to operate office equipment
- Occasional travel required
Compensation:
Compensation Range: $130,000-$135,000
Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. This position is not eligible for a variable pay component as part of the hiring range.
