About the Job
- The Manager, Local & Audio Media Buying is a remote or hybrid position reporting into the Senior Manager. Some of your main responsibilities in this role are to negotiate cost efficient media schedules on behalf of your assigned client, strategize ways to use media dollars most effectively that foster exceeding performance objectives. You will coordinate all aspects of the buying process in several markets.

- You will maintain all purchase schedules
- You will work closely with vendors and seek creative solutions to enhance buy product
- You will generate Media Ocean and HudsonMX reports as required
- You will post all media schedules in accordance with client buying guidelines and secure any owed compensatory weight if necessary
- You will help Sr. Manager to advise clients on best ways to integrate media into their advertising and marketing programs
- You will grow business opportunities within current clients
- You will keep up with the latest trends in media
- You will participate, if applicable, in face-to-face client meetings
- Provide guidance to team members nurture/promote team environment
- You will work with management team (Sr. Manager/AMD/Media Director) to develop strategies for media buys
- You will be responsible for constructing and delivering accurate, honest, and appropriate performance management documents
- You will strategize ways to use media dollars most effectively to the greatest benefit for our clients
- You may assist in the development of media presentations and tactical POVs
- You will ensure key information is provided to team regarding client issues, internal agency issues, changes in account status, etc.
- You have 3+ years of media buying experience, including at least 1 year at the Buyer/Sr. Associate level
- You have media vendor negotiation experience
- You have working knowledge in at least some of the following platforms:
- Media Ocean, Prisma, Act 1, DCM, DV360, TradeDesk
- You have knowledge of media research terminology
Additional Information
The anticipated salary range for this position is $51,000-$83,375. Salary is based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
