The Manager, Marketing & Content Strategy has two primary responsibilities. The first is to grow Ring's End's brand visibility through omnichannel advertising campaigns, and the second is to develop and implement content strategies across social and digital platforms.

Using customer, competitive, and industry insights, the Manager, Marketing & Content Strategy will support the media plan for Ring's End and our key partner brands to engage with our customer segments via omnichannel media campaigns. You will coordinate with outside agencies, vendors, media partners, and internal stakeholders to develop innovative campaigns aimed at building brand awareness and fostering customer relationships. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a passion for media and marketing and an understanding of the Building Materials/Home Improvement Retail industry.

Additionally, the Manager, Marketing & Content Strategy is responsible for setting and managing the strategy of Ring's End's presence on all social media platforms ensuring it closely aligns with our brand values and identity and resonates with our target audiences. The strategies should drive follower growth, engagement, and purchase intent. The role will focus on developing content that enhances brand, service, and product awareness through customer education.

Key responsibilities

• Map the customer shopping journey, identify communication and education gaps, and create best-in-class campaigns and content to showcase Ring's End's expertise, products, and services.
• Develop and align online and offline marketing campaigns in collaboration with external teams and the marketing team.
• Stay updated on trends in social media and relevant industries to keep Ring's End strategies fresh and competitive.
• Working with our videographer, strategize, produce, and execute content marketing program to achieve marketing goals of increased brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement.
• Assist the social media and Events Coordinator in managing the brand's social media editorial calendar, ensuring high-level marketing strategies translate into daily and weekly content that supports campaigns, product launches, and educational opportunities across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
  • Manage our influence/creator marketing programs to ensure ROI from these partnerships
• Assist with general marketing initiatives such as events, promotions, digital campaign creative, and administrative tasks such as co-op advertising reimbursement and invoice allocation.
• Oversee our email marketing and direct response marketing efforts across all departments

Job commitments

• Permanent, full time: Monday - Thursday on-site at Darien location, Friday remote
• Hours: 8 am – 4 pm weekdays, after hours as necessary
• Travel: as necessary to film content and for events
• Physical requirements: lifting, loading/unloading, (indoor/outdoor)

Key skills and experience

• BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of digital media platforms and offline media such as television, print, out of home, radio, and sponsorships.
• Proven experience in media planning and implementing campaigns with high-quality standards, including experience in cooperative marketing programs.
• 5 years of experience managing social marketing content and strategy, and community management.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proven ability to identify and apply innovative marketing ideas and solutions.
• Strategic, solution-oriented mindset with high attention to detail and quality.
