The Opportunity:
Saint Luke’s System Office is seeking an experienced Manager to lead our Nutrition Services team. In this fast-paced environment, you will have opportunity to direct all processes and activities related to; guest satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness, sanitation, and employee retention. This position will manage the cafeteria, online ordering, market, caterings, and assist staff in day to day operations while taking care of all managerial duties including reporting, invoicing, attending meetings, and other duties as needed. This role will also provide you with the opportunity to serve as a member of the hospital leadership team. Your experience and expertise in Hospitality and Food Services will allow you to successfully achieve quality customer, people, growth and financial outcomes.
The Work:
- Complete oversight of the Nutrition Services department, responsible for;
- Budgets, revenue expenses and business plans.
- Interviewing, hiring, training, and motivating staff.
- Performance management of employees.
- Assists with new menu development and implementation.
- Serves as a professional example and role model to staff.
- Handles customer complaints.
- Professionally administers policies in a fair and consistent manner.
- Educates team and adheres to policies, procedures, standards, and regulations.
- Delegates duties to all team members.
- Ensures all federal state and local regulations are met.
- Completes required month end procedures and statistical reports.
We are seeking a candidate who possesses a high level of communication skills, organizational, and financial skills, as well as Cook experience. To be successful in this role, you will need to provide leadership to staff and demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with our mission vision core values and code of conduct. A Bachelors degree preferred.
