This position is 100% remote! Preferred candidates will be located in Maryland or New Jersey.

To accomplish this, in addition to ABA therapy, we offer speech therapy, occupational therapy, and counseling to seamlessly coordinate care across therapy fields, build an integrated health plan for each child, and ensure the individual needs of each child is met. What will your day look like?
- Mentorship & leadership of ABA care coordinators
- Training of new care coordinators
- Monitoring and completing intake phone call for new client referrals
- Educating families about the services we provide
- Verifying client insurance benefits to determine eligibility
- Training care coordinators on verifying insurance benefits
- Communicating with families their insurance benefits and financial obligations
- Accurate data entry and communication recorded in EHR and other software
- Accurate reporting up to CEO & CFO
- Updating client availability for therapy
- Training care coordinators on input, update, and exercise discretion to modify client schedules as needed
- Organize entire intake process & train care coordinators on revamped processes
- Training care coordinators to exercise discretion to schedule clients appropriately, maximizing their authorization
- Communicating all schedules changes with entire team including family, RBT, and BCBA
- Use judgement in addressing concerns with filling schedules and any other client concern
- Inputting authorizations into EHR
- Train care coordinators on auditing all parts of EHR for accurately and completeness
- Evaluating staffing needs and communicate with team
- Attending team meetings and leadership meetings to communicate current needs
- Identify scheduling and staffing adjustments necessary, and address accordingly based on client satisfaction feedback received
- Use judgement in coordinating schedules of other professionals (SLP, OT, psychologist, social worker, etc.)
- Manage own team of care coordinators
- Develop strategies to enhance intake and care coordination processes accross the organization to assist Blue Ballon with grow
Minimum Requirements:
- Background check clearance upon hire
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent
- Previous experience with ABA related intake and scheduling
- Strong communication skills
- Srong leadership skills
- Detail oriented
- Data driven
- Technology Savvy
