Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with sales and use tax regulations and manage business license registrations and renewals.
- Lead audit defense efforts and provide guidance on tax matters.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the indirect tax function.
- Manage and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Conduct data analysis to support strategic decision-making and compliance efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certification (CPA or CMI) is required.
- 5-9+ years of relevant experience in Sales & Use Tax.
- Previous supervisory experience is essential.
- Experience with Vertex or other tax software preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with strong data analysis skills.
