A large Real Estate Investment Trust company just outside of Boston is actively seeking a Manager of Investor Relations for their team
This company has over $2B in assets under management and continues to grow
This team is on site at least 4 days a week and the role is open due to a re-organization
Responsibilities:
The Manager of Investor Relations must understand financial markets.
This person will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with investors, shareholders and the financial community.
Monitor and analyze industry and market trends, as well as industry peers, to provide insightful recommendations and guidance to the management team on investor sentiment and market positioning.
The Manager will work with the full IR team to foster strong relationships with existing and potential investors and sell-side analysts by providing them with accurate, timely, and relevant information about the company's and clients’ performance, financial results and strategic initiatives that best position them to achieve fair valuation
The client would Ideally like to see 3-5 years of experience in IR for a public company – Financial Services, Real Estate and REIT’s would be huge plus but not required.
Highly visible role - employee will work on the earnings scripts, investor presentations, and other presentations to leadership team for their own REIT.
Clear communicator and professional presentation is a must.
This position reports to the Senior Director, Investor Relations, and works closely with senior and executive management
Systems: MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required; Nasdaq IR Connect, FactSet, Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters tools are a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of three+ years of experience in investor relations, finance, or related roles with a public company
Experience with an asset management company is a plus.
Highly organized with meticulous diligence.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information and the company’s value proposition concisely and with impact
