Location: 3-day Hybrid (T-Th) in either Port Washington NY Office or West Palm Beach FL Office
Position Overview: The Manager of National Accounts Analytics will conduct high quality analysis focused on delivering insights synthesizing multiple data sources, develop consumer and customer focused strategies, and uncover opportunities to drive sales execution to enhance National Accounts performance. This role will provide analytical support and craft executive level summaries to ensure cross-departmental alignment and help drive strategies to achieve profitability goals.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Work directly with Chain Account Managers and Sales Leadership on the management and execution of strategic initiatives and new concepts to enhance state performance and profitability.
Proactively evaluate existing strategies, track key deliverables, and recommend changes when appropriate.
Analyze sales data at all points within the 3-tier system, including shipments, depletions, sell-through data, and inventory positions.
Collaborate with Sales to establish best practice approaches to insight generation and fact-based selling. Drive introduction and organizational adoption of databases and tools to analyze quantitative execution standards.
Administer sales systems including creating, running, and streamlining reports, creating and/or cascading goals, and account management.
Work with VIP and syndicated data platforms (Circana) to generate data and business insights supporting sales teams and chain partners.
Create and manage KPI scorecards, authorization tracking, and support the general needs of timing/resets.
Utilize Chain specific proprietary systems and tools inclusive of our distributor partners to report and evaluate display penetration and ad execution.
Examine and drive shelf-set standards within the NA Off Premise landscape.
Provide insights, analysis, recommendations, and tools to business groups and other departments.
Conduct distribution gap analysis to ensure customer/item efficiency.
Distribute sales reports from internal and external sources ensuring data integrity and ease of use, align brands with suppliers.
Assist in Budget and Forecast process – including long range planning and analysis.
Perform maintenance of data dimensions and routine updating of tracking tools to promote accuracy and accountability.
Develop ideas within a team environment regarding data organization and sales reporting.
Additional related duties may be assigned, as required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Minimum of 5 years professional sales analyst and/or category insights experience in the alcohol beverage experience required.
Experience with managing NA Off proprietary reporting systems is strongly desired.
Expert in Excel with regards to Data Management, Reporting, and Data Analysis.
Experience with PowerQuery, Excel VBA and relational databases is a plus.
Ability to read, interpret and garner insights using Circana and Nielsen data.
Strong communication, both written and verbal.
Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, teamwork, maturity under pressure, and anticipates and resolves problems.
Self-starter, passion to challenge the status quo, curiosity, desire, and ability to think beyond surface level, dive deeper into financials and strategic thinking.
