BASIC FUNCTION:
The Manager of Partnership Development is a critical member of the Operations team, being the interface between the Business Development team and the Operations team. Acts as the bridge between the company and its partners, focusing on cultivating strong relationships, driving strategic initiatives and managing the overall partner portfolio. Works closely with teams across the organization, including Business Development, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Human Resources, striving to create and execute successful partnership strategies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Be a liaison between the Operations and Business Development teams, acting as a two-way conduit for information to inform the goals of both teams.
- Establish and nurture beneficial relationships with current and potential partners. These relationships are critical to boosting brand credibility, expanding market reach, and driving sales.
- Analyzing potential partnership agreements ensuring alignment with company goals, objectives and provisions to cultivate a thriving collaboration while ensuring timely completion of all objectives.
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of proposals for potential partners alongside the Business Development Team.
- Create and implement actionable tactics that align with the strategies developed in concert with the Business Development and Operations teams that promote partner development and contribution, improving profitability and operational efficiency.
- Manage cross-functional projects to ensure awareness and achievement of critical milestones.
- Utilize extensive financial & data analysis skills to determine the necessary inputs & outputs of the opportunities shared by the Business Development team to provide feedback and negotiation points.
- Innate ability to tell stories with data and explain complex concepts through widely accessible visualizations.
- Manage and assess strategic development options such as acquisitions and partnerships.
- Maintain up to date information about the healthcare industry.
- Create templates, charts and creative elements to enhance the storytelling of materials.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Previous Project Management experience a must.
- Prior experience in sales, marketing and/or operations preferred.
- Previous strategy and management experience.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- Outstanding ability to influence decision makers.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- MBA degree required.
- Strong computer skills, including financial modeling, pro-forma creation, and data analysis using industry leading platforms.
- Participated or personally managed five to ten projects to successful completion in a previous role.
