Manager, Payroll (Full-time) - Restore Corporate - Restore Therapy Services

About the Job
GENERAL PURPOSE:
To manage the overall payroll process, including the import or keying of time, audit and review of payroll reports, year-end tax forms and reports and oversight of earnings and deduction codes. Also to assist Controller with month end accounting functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certified Payroll Professional designation or four year college degree in Accounting/Business/Finance desired
- Strong working knowledge of payroll systems and Microsoft Office and Excel are required
- Experience with UltiPro software highly preferred
- Knowledge of accounting principles, including debits/credits, journal entries, and financial concepts
- Ability to work cooperatively with management, therapists, customers, and coworkers
- Excellent communication skills and extreme attention to detail
- Must be able to perform the Essential Job Functions with or without accommodations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manage entire payroll process of biweekly payrolls for all of Restore Therapy Services and subsidiaries.
- Set up and maintain all garnishment and child support levies.
- Keep up to date on federal, state and local guidelines relative to our services
- Uphold payroll policies and procedures.
- Partner with Information Technology Department, Accounting Department & Human Resources Department to test updates/upgrades for company policy changes and to research and resolve Payroll/Accounting & Human Resources issues.
- Act as a liaison between Home Office and UltiPro on all tax and system related matters.
- Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
- Perform general accounting support such as reconciling benefit invoices to payroll records and assist in month end close review and postings.
- Other duties as assigned by Controller.
