Manager - Performance Improvement
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Manager of Performance Improvement to join our partner hospital in Las Vegas, NV. This pivotal role will lead initiatives to enhance patient safety, quality of care, and operational efficiency throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive performance improvement plan, aligning with the hospital's strategic goals and objectives.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of risk. Prepare clear and concise reports to communicate findings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Lead process improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean methodologies and other quality improvement tools to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory and accreditation standards, including those set forth by The Joint Commission and other governing bodies.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of performance improvement professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Education & Training: Develop and deliver educational programs to enhance staff knowledge and understanding of performance improvement principles and practices.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
- Experience:
- Two (2) years of QA (Quality Assurance) or PI (Performance Improvement) experience.
- A minimum of two (2) years of progressive management experience in a healthcare setting.
- Technical Skills: Computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and Lean Training.
- License/Certification: If a Registered Nurse (RN), a current RN license in the state of Nevada is required.
