Job Description
The Individual will be responsible for the accounting oversight of actual amounts recorded In Oracle, forecast and plan for Corporate/AIIbrands Group ("ABG") Support Groups. This also Includes accounting oversight of any standard and non-standard transactions as well as the planning for new contracts and arrangements and ensuring consistent application of Internal controls. The individual will be a key contributor to the growth of the department by providing a strong professional presence, accounting technical expertise, strong analytical skills and a business/operational focus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Accounting oversight of the actual amounts recorded in Oracle, plan and forecast processes
- Accounting oversight of any standard and non-standard transactions, including review of journal entries and reconciliations
- Planning for new contracts and arrangements and ensuring consistent application of internal controls
- Preliminary review and sign-off on Capital Appropriation Requests ("CAR"), which Includes ensuring capital policy compliance

- Proactively identify opportunities to facilitate actual performance In line with the Plan for all ABG departments
- Facilitate submission of the ABG Plan and Forecast to senior management
- Consistently use effective communication skills to discuss and reach resolution around potentially difficult messages
- Drive a continuous process Improvement mindset and Implement agreed process Improvements
- Participate in special projects and tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification is preferred
- Outstanding professional with a minimum of 6 years of total experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory/management role
- Must have strong Microsoft Excel as well as a proficient knowledge of other Microsoft applications; Must have experience with Oracle Financial Systems.
- Intelligent and practical, possessing the ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment; tenacious in meeting deadlines and adept at managing peak workloads; self-motivated and able to handle several functions at one time by being very well organized as the position will be required to simultaneously manage several projects; excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of staff and management; excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative communication style; "hands-on” style and detail-oriented approach to document preparation and/or review; uncompromising personal integrity, as well as a high level of respect for all individuals; ability to easily adapt to changing priorities and unforeseen obstacles to achieving objectives; able to work both independently and as part of a team; able to respond calmly and make rational decisions.
