We are looking for a Manager, Plant LIMS & Kneat to join our PLM team who will report to the Senior Director.
What you will do
- Lead efforts to implement LIMS and Kneat for Plant sites, establish & communicate the implementation strategy
- Manage end to end implementations to ensure smooth go lives and to drive capabilities and realize benefits
- Become functional/technical expert on LIMS and Kneat (system features, system functionality, access/security controls, master dataand understanding of the business processes these systems support)
- Partner with GIT and end users to design, test and implement new features
- Be a liaison between the end Users and GIT: Champion the needs of Plants to GIT and also explain to Plant the benefits of the IT solution/change.Drive change management efforts.
- Actively participate in working meetings to analyze and define As-Is and the optimal To-Be business processes
- Have a holistic view to understand touchpoints so don’t provide a benefit to one area at the expense of another
- Ensure System Administration is timely and effective(new users accounts, track licenses, user deactivation: 90 day / terminations,issue resolution)
- Ensure end user training program is effective and training documentation is up to date
- Partner with LIMS GTech Lead to implement and manage LIMS Master Data Data Governance policies
- Partner with Quality on documentation required for FDA Part 11 Computer System Validation
- Manage Digital Library platform, budget, vendor relationships, contracts and invoices and drive awareness & utilization
- Manage direct report and ensure proper cross training and alignment with support team
- Partner with GIT to execute detailed (day to day) plans/timelines
- Identify workable solutions to problems, monitor and resolve system issues
- Write user requirements based on input from team into clear IT deliverables
- Lead and participate in end to end system testing to evaluatefunctionality and performance
- Handle and author FDA validation documentation (Validation Plans, IQ, IQ, PQ protocols, test scripts)
- Develop end user training materials w/input from team,manage end user training program
- Manage Digital Library contracts andtroubleshoot issues
Required Qualificaiton
- Bachelors Degree inInformation Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science or scientific background
- 5+ years of experience in PLM or Plant Quality
- Experience with implementation, support and/or power user of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
- Experience in product development or plant operations in the Consumer Product industry and / orIT project implementation, software testing, user and functional specifications documentation, business process analysis / business process design activities
- Solid project management skills and ability to quickly develop LIMS technical knowledge
- People-oriented and understand the application of information systems in the workplace
- Determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions can affect outcomes
- Assess & mitigate impact on the business process and end users
- Expertise in system design, testing, implementation, FDA validation and IT agile/waterfallmethodology
- Expertise in developing & delivering end user training
- Ability to execute end to end testing to evaluate proper functionality and performance
- Use expertise to test for features / look for hidden issues not be part of the standard test script
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in people management
- Problem solving skills: identify strengths & weaknesses of solutions to problems
- Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly
- Strong computer skills (e.g. Excel Pivot tables, V Look Up, Googleetc)
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $102,400.00 - $144,000.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:
- Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
- Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
- Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
- Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
- Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
- Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
