The Manager, Portfolio Analytics, is responsible for delivering key insights on the pharmaceutical market and Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine portfolio performance. This position will support the development and management of a comprehensive centralized portfolio management system to assess overall business performance, assist with regular market and portfolio updates for senior leadership, address key business questions, and support development of business update presentations.
Responsibilities:
• Support the management & delivery of a comprehensive portfolio management system to evaluate overall Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine performance.
o Manage the JALT (Janssen Americas Leadership Team) dashboard with consolidated metrics of commercial performance for all therapy areas; identify and implement opportunities for dashboard enhancements.
o Lead JALT dashboard operations process & documentation to ensure timely execution.
o Summarize the overall health of the business with key metrics on forecast attainment, brand performance, field force execution, and patient engagement.
• Partner internally and externally to develop standard therapeutic area performance dashboards that complement the JALT dashboard.
o Establish standard data integration necessary to automate metrics across all brands with a focus to enhance and improve integration of complex data sources.
o Drive metric efficiencies across all therapeutic areas to appropriately measure and diagnose performance trends.
• Provide regular market and portfolio updates for Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine senior leadership, address key business questions, and support development of business update presentations.
o Prepare market and portfolio insights for senior leadership business reviews.
o Contribute to development of North America LT (Leadership team) presentations.
o Address key business questions related to market and portfolio trends.
• Partner effectively across Commercial Strategy & Operations (CS&O) team to organize core datasets, align on business definitions, and disseminate portfolio insights.
o Champion collaboration with cross functional metric stakeholders (e.g., performance, execution, fulfillment. etc.)
§ Integrate Portfolio Analytics team within CS&O by attending QB meetings and understanding insights with CIS & CEDT partners.
o Assist the agenda management for Portfolio Analytics Sub team across all therapeutic areas and cross functional metric teams
§ Lead training, leverage Power BI, improve culture, etc.• Minimum of BA/BS is required
• Advanced degree is preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience in market research, forecasting, marketing intelligence, sales, business analytics, strategic planning, finance, management consulting is required
• Self-motivation and a high degree of intellectual curiosity
• Strong leadership agility and success solving ambiguous business issues
• Proven success partnering across the commercial organization to generate actionable insights and recommendations
• Experience shaping and influencing organizational decision-making
• Strength in storytelling, data visualization and developing effective presentations
• Knowledge across a broad spectrum of forecasting and analytic approaches and ability to identify appropriate approach to address key business questions
• Knowledge and demonstrated use of syndicated healthcare data sources and suppliers
• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is required
• Experience with Tableau or PowerBI is preferred
The base pay range for this position is $99,000 to $170,200 The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
