Position Summary:
The Manager, Premium Ticketing is responsible for managing an array of touring and regional-based Premium Ticketing initiatives instrumental to generating companywide ancillary revenues. The Manager will work closely with the Director, Sr. Management, co-workers, clients and any other affiliated parties in order to effectively maximize ancillary revenues.
Essential Functions:
- Departmental lead for designated touring and regional-based Premium Ticketing initiatives
- Perpetual oversight and daily maintenance of market-based pricing initiatives associated with Dynamic Pricing programs
- Ability to continuously exercise independent judgment and utilize discretion essential to maximizing ancillary revenues
- Management of VIP Packaging initiatives including all underlying elements essential for successful execution
- Assist with generation of financial models and projections associated with Premium Ticketing initiatives
- Directly support the planning, development and integration of national, regional and local-based programs
- Oversight, maintenance and administration of associated program-based budgets
- Compilation and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly ticket counts and event-based reports
- Responsible for the integrity of all assigned repots, reconciliations and event-based settlements
- Review, dictate and assign corresponding ticket holds and allocations as required for each initiative
- Competently manage large amounts of inventory across several tours or individual events simultaneously
- Provide direct input on collateral, sales and marketing materials
- Initiation, regulation and maintenance of customer service channels
- Development, creation of procurement of exclusive merchandise products, accessories and product lines
- Negotiating prices, placing orders, achieving production deadlines and ensuring product integrity with vendors
- Processing and fulfillment duties associated with invoicing and vendor payments
- Travel to designated events associated with companywide initiatives in order collaborate with counterparts, develop meaningful relationships and to ensure the integrity of each independent program meets the highest standards
- Procurement of local help for corresponding events as required
- Actively participate in national and local work functions affiliated with premium initiatives as required
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
- Proven track record of success and experience in the entertainment industry, sports industry or equivalent combination of education and experiences
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously with little supervision
- Demonstrated proficiencies across multiple ticketing platforms and associated technologies
- Firm understanding of supply and demand based economics and underlying principles
- Ability to work with complex mathematical concepts and computations
- Individual must be extremely organized and work well under extremely stressful situations
- Willingness to work long, irregular hours - including nights, weekends and holidays as required
- Strong work ethic, results oriented - ability to go above and beyond what is necessary to achieve success
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office applications including: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills and capabilities required
- Ability to present information effectively and ability respond to questions and/or inquiries from co-workers, clients and customers in a timely manner
- Ability to travel for work as required, including extended durations based on overall requirements
Pay scale: $64,849-$93,062
