About the Job
This position is remote with some travel and will contribute to the strength and development of the CA CPUC DDTP and vendor partners to ensure that SLAs are met or exceeded; ensure any potential risks/issues are communicated promptly and mitigation strategies are recommended.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop project scope statements.
- Provide leadership of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) session to identify specific project deliverables and defining accountability per unit.
- Ensure business requirements and tasks are identified to create a detailed MS Project schedule.
- Manage the identified project deliverables for completion by ensuring accountability per participating unit.
- Develop and monitor risk plans to ensure mitigation strategies are in place and being executed.
- Prepare and deliver project status reports to stakeholders.
- Recommend changes to policies and establish procedures.
- Monitor and facilitate the tracking and resolution of issues impacting the project.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with gov't contracts
- Exp. w/ a multi-vendor environment? (we're a 3 rd party administrator)

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
