About the Job
- The Manager of Projects and Administration serves as the point person for MaineHealth Medical Group (MHMG) related projects inclusive of developing, implementing, and maintaining oversight of strategic projects and tools to streamline administrative procedures and improve efficiency. The Manager of Projects and Administration collaborates with senior leaders to deliver projects on time and on budget and to align administrative operations with overall organizational goals and objectives. This role is responsible for oversight of the Medical Administration support care team.
- Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in health care or related field required
- Experience: Minimum of three to five (3-5) years’ leadership experience in healthcare or related field required. Previous project management experience required.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks.
- Skills in planning, organizing, delegating, and supervising.
- Presentation development, Organizational charts, spreadsheets, data collecting.
- Information management to include this office and all MHMG physician related projects or requirements.
- A high level of analytical and critical thinking skills is needed to assist in the development of new systems, techniques, procedures and to develop special and recurring reports or analysis.
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills; ability to write and present for a variety of audiences.
- Demonstrated highly developed organizational skills.
- Knowledgeable of computer programs needed for position.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to bring things together with a holistic view across MHMG to deliver work on time and on budget.
