Manager - Purchasing and Supply Chain
What does a Manager, Procurement and Supply Chain do at Fiserv?
You will oversee all aspects of Fiserv Hardware Solution's supply chain in North America, including forecasting, procurement, transportation, and vendor quality liaison. This role controls over $200M in Annual Spend to drive our Procurement department as well as $20M in Logistics spend.
What you will do:
+ Develop, monitor, and pursue strategic and tactical initiatives/projects in a specialized area, i.e. commodities, supplier management and contract/vendor relationships. Prepare analytical reports and forecasts in order to track product costs.
+ Purchase and arrange timely deliveries of raw components, materials and parts which together form the "end product".
+ Acquire goods in the right time, and of the right quality, quantity, and cost.
+ Prepare purchase orders, analyze quotations received, negotiate contracts, and obtain confirmation of deliveries.
+ Maintain relationships with suppliers and review sourced materials, their costs, and services.
+ Recommend changes in purchasing procedures to improve quality and services and/or reduce cost.
What you need to have:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Finance or a combination of experience, education and military experience.
+ 8+ years of experience in a distribution center or manufacturing environment with distribution
+ 5+ years of experience in a Purchasing or Transportation Role
+ 5+ years of People Management experience
+ 2+ years of experience in a vendor management related role
+ Experience with complex Microsoft Excel calculations including VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, creating models based on 3+ different inputs
What would be great to have:
+ LEAN, Six Sigma, or Project Management Certification
+ Experience with international transportation and logistics
+ Experience with Consumer Electronics or Payment Solutions
+ Experience with Oracle or SAP
+ Experience with Data Analytics
