Job Summary:
Finance leader that will support functional incentive design and administration, partnering across the Strategic Finance, Compensation, Accounting and Line of Business teams.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Identifies net income opportunities to increase shareholder value.
* Summarizes large amounts of financial data into a concise story around key drivers of financial performance and presents to management on a monthly basis. Works with key line of business leaders and the performance management group within Finance to assess the profitability of new products, segments, campaigns, and other initiatives through a detailed cost analysis process. Provides support for pricing of loans, deposits, and other fee income products within the line of business.
* Works with management in preparation of the quarterly rolling forecast and annual budget for respective lines of business. Works with the forecasting and analytics group to ensure an adequate level of input required to properly forecast the financial performance of the line of business, sub-segment, or cost center including input of all assumptions, and summarization for review with executive management prior to finalization.
* Manages the management reporting function for lines of business. Ensures all information necessary to communicate the financial performance of the line of business and sub-segments are represented within the performance management process including all financial information, scorecards, dashboards and any other reports used by the line of business.
* Works with the management to create financial pro formas for potential business cases prior to review in the Resource Allocation Committee (RAC). Ensures key inputs are reviewed and approved by executive management of the line of business prior to review by members of RAC.
* Provides leadership, direction and growth opportunities to members of the department, performing those responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning or directing work, appraising performance, disciplining team members and resolving problems. Works with the Human Resources Department to resolve more complex team member-related issues.
* Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
* Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related business discipline OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum Experience: Six years of accounting and financial analysis experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
* Strong analytical and technical skills with proficiency using enterprise planning systems, Excel, G/L, A/P, Fixed Assets.
* Working knowledge of relational database architecture and cube design.
* Knowledge of various banking concepts, practices and procedures, such as funds transfer pricing, allocation methodologies, RAROC, and economic profit
* Strong skill set translating complex business requirements into solutions that meet customer needs.
* Skill communicating with executive management to understand requirements and set priorities.
* Excellent organizational and team management skills.
* Skill leading, motivating and directing a team toward common goals while meeting all deadlines.
* Strong written and verbal communications skills, including an ability to influence people to move toward collective organizational goals.
* Skill in effectively communicating financial results, both verbally and through reports, and presentations to leadership.
* Skill managing multiple projects concurrently and delegating while maintaining involvement in projects to meet deadlines.
* Strong critical thinking skills, including the ability to identify trends within raw data.
