About the Job
We are currently recruiting for a Manager/Sr. Manager - Supply Planning to support the GP PRO (Away From Home) business. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work autonomously and possess a high degree of creativity and resourcefulness. Success also requires effective partnering across multiple capabilities resulting in a shared point of view. This individual will be responsible for PRO Towel and Napkin Supply Planning.
Location: This is a hybrid position based out of our headquarters in Atlanta, GA.
What You Will Do
- Lead, attract, retain, and develop talent - Lead team of supply planners. Advance the PBM culture and ensure each team member understands the shared vision and how his/her priorities create value for GP
- Manage the Sales and Operations Process (S&OP) - Enable development of short-term and long-term plans focusing on optimizing tradeoffs between service, cost, and asset efficiency. Clearly articular range of outcomes to proactively identify action plans
- Enable Service Excellence - Ensure Category fulfillment model is designed to meet competitive service levels at supply chain optimized costs
- Enhance Margin - Increase Category profitability through identification of and execution against Supply Chain efficiency opportunities that optimize manufacturing and distribution costs. Continue challenging assumptions for optimized transfer sourcing adherence to further reduce supply chain costs
- Enable Growth - Facilitate execution of product transitions and launches of new items. Collaborate with Business Operations to resolve gaps in capacity where capital projects may be needed
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally - Develop preferred partnerships with key business leaders to enable improved decision making. Effectively gain alignment across a dispersed stakeholder group including Category, Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, Logistics, and Supply Chain
- Transformation - Advocate, communicate value, and drive improvements in tools, processes, and metrics through the PRO Planning organization
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelors Degree OR 2+ years of additional work experience in supply chain
- Experience in Microsoft Office Software (Excel - basic analysis, pivot tables, and creating graphs, Outlook - scheduling, Word - document creation/editing and PowerPoint - presentation creation/editing)
- Experience communicating effectively across an organization (email, verbal, small & large group settings)
- Strong cross-functional relationship building experience
- Experience identifying and delivering both incremental and transformational improvement in processes
- Willing to travel up to 10% of the time
What Will Put You Ahead
- 5+ years of Supply Chain or Manufacturing experience
- Deep knowledge of inventory planning and production planning processes
- Experience leading and influencing teams and developing consensus decision-making
- Experience developing talent
- Experience utilizing SAP S4 / SAP IBP Software
