OUR STORY:
Sunset Grill at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek is an all-day casual venue that captures the atmosphere and charm of the venerable “old-Florida” eateries and roadside cafes. Our menu focuses on iconic sunshine state foods, using ingredients and items that are grown and produced by local farms and partners. Our fin and shellfish will be delivered daily and wild caught daily by the industry’s most passionate seafood professionals.
A carefully curated beverage program highlighting local craft breweries and distilleries compliments the food menu. From oyster friendly sparkling wines, to island drinks made with fresh pressed juices- our libations are a perfect pairing for soaking in the sounds of our live entertainment or catching the big game.
Responsibilities:Essential Duties:
Under the supervision of the Vice President of Food & Beverage, the Sunset Grill Manager is responsible for:
- Identifying business needs and implementing solutions to reduce or contain costs, improve efficiency, or generate revenue. Recommend changes using data to the Director of Restaurants and VP of Food and Beverage
- Championing our established casual dining service standards to ensure that the outlet supports the casino by providing outstanding service to VIP guests
- Working in conjunction with the chef to maintain the highest level of food quality and consistency
- Developing drink, wine, and specialty menus
- Instituting cost control procedures, inventories and standards of performance. Review purchase orders and inventory levels as needed
- Analyzing monthly P&L financial statements
- Upholding outlet operating standards
- Maintaining appropriate staffing levels at all times in accordance with established FTE Budgets. Filling open positions with appropriate urgency.
- Utilizing daily checklists
- Creating and ensuring a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting atmosphere
- Maintaining a safe, clean, professional and comfortable environment for guests and team members at all times
- Selecting, training, coaching, developing, appraising and retaining exceptional people
- Driving team member engagement to create a high level of morale and productivity
- Handling team member and guest concerns with a high degree of urgency
- Maintaining compliance requirements as defined by Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations
- Exhibiting conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures

Work Environment:
- May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
- The casino is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You may be required to work on any of the days the casino is open including weekends and holidays.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

- The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans.
