Overview: Manager - System Administration
Hybrid Role: (Remote/Onsite) Must live in St. Louis Metro area for onsite travel reasons.

Lead and mentor a team of web administrators and automation engineers
Oversee the administration and optimization of web servers including IIS, Tomcat, and Apache
Manage F5 load balancers to ensure high availability and performance of web applications
Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using tools like Ansible and Terraform
Develop and implement automation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks
Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and security standards
Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate web services with backend systems
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Primary Function Manages servers, storage, operating systems and applications to ensure availability, recoverability, performance, integrity and supportability through production support and maintenance of existing systems and development and implementation of systems enhancements All positions in this job family participate, to some degree, in the following activities: - Production Support monitoring, troubleshooting, configuring, enhancing and providing advanced customer support - Deployment / Implementation planning and executing the implementation of new applications or system integration and testing - Design researching, recommending and designing new technologies, new configurations and enhancements to existing systems; providing consulting advice to customers on the capabilities of the network environment
Qualifications:
- Experience: Five (5) years of relevant technical or business work experience.
- Required Education: Bachelors degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience.
- Other: xperience overseeing project teams and/or work processes
- Lead and mentor a team of web administrators and automation engineers
- Oversee the administration and optimization of web servers including IIS, Tomcat, and Apache
- Manage F5 load balancers to ensure high availability and performance of web applications
- Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using tools like Ansible and Terraform
- Develop and implement automation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks
- Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and security standards
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate web services with backend systems
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Strong knowledge of IIS, Tomcat, and Apache web servers
- Expertise in F5 load balancer configuration and management
- Proficiency in IaC tools, particularly Ansible and Terraform
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Excellent communication and team management skills
- Healthcare IT experience is a plus
