Manager, Tax Planning
Location: Atlanta, GA (Midtown)
Work style: 5 days/wk in office with 40 flex days/yr
Position Summary:
The Tax Planning Manager will be a key member of a dynamic corporate tax team, responsible for performing a range of tasks primarily focused on fulfilling the US tax reporting requirements of international entities. This position will also support global tax planning and other special projects. The role will partner closely with professionals across the organization, including controllership, accounting, and treasury. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, responsive, flexible and can handle multiple projects while producing accurate and timely results.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
+ Manage all aspects of U.S. international income tax compliance for foreign entities, including forms 5471, 8858, 1118 and other schedules related to non-U.S. subsidiaries and activities
+ Calculations of E&P, tax pools, section 987, ODL/OFL accounts, and foreign tax credits
+ Gather data for global information reporting in connection with GILTI, FDII, and BEAT calculations
+ Support transfer pricing calculation and documentation processes
+ Partner with business and finance leadership to execute global tax planning strategies and further overall business objectives
+ Provide general international tax support to other finance and business groups
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting plus 5-7 years corporate tax experience
+ Strong understanding of US international income tax laws
+ Strong overall computer and data management skills including familiarity with general ledger systems and processes
+ Strong functional and technical tax skills, organizational and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to communicate effectively with global business and finance teams
+ Ability to work in a collaborative environment
