Accountants One is working with a global company based out of the metro Atlanta area. This well-known organization is looking for a Manager, Technical Accounting & Reporting.

Position Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to manage the preparation and coordination of all external financial reporting requirements, accounting research and resolution of complex accounting issues, new accounting guidance and reporting governance application and implementation, monitoring and updating of financial controls to comply with Sarbanes Oxley and other internal control requirements and development and implementation of global accounting policies.

This position will also assist the Senior Manager, Technical Accounting/Reporting and the VP – Accounting, CAO with various special projects and work closely with senior management. This person will be involved with corporate staff initiatives and complex transaction analysis to ensure that the accounting implications of actions being considered are understood by the decision makers.
