JOB DESCRIPTION
The Manager Ticket Sales is responsible for sales of new Full Season Equivalents, Season Ticket Memberships. This position creates business plans and executes sales strategies to surpass all revenue targets. This position is responsible for leading the strategy around recruiting, training, and developing our Season Ticket Sales Staff. In addition, the Manager Ticket Sales will take the lead on in-game selling and running new sales events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage the day-to-day activity of a sales team with specific goals, focusing on motivation and accountability, and assist in setting sales meetings and developing sales presentations and collateral.
- Recruit, interview, hire and train new sales team members and efficiently and effectively onboard new hires. Actively mentor and develop employees with the goal of elevating each team member through the Sales Development Program (Sales Representative, Account Executive and Sr. Account Executive).
- Lead weekly sales department meetings and staff huddles and execute bi-weekly Goal Setting Meetings with the sales team.
- Utilize coaching and source external coaching to develop and train the sales team.
- Design and implement sales contests that consistently motivate and engage the entire sales team.
- The Manager will be responsible for conceiving, creating, managing and implementing sales campaigns within the ticket sales department of the LA Kings. The campaigns include but are not limited to Season Ticket Memberships, Mini-Plans, Flex Plans, Holiday Packs, and other campaigns required.
- Collaborate with other internal LA Kings departments to ensure proper utilization of ticketing platform, CRM, and Sales enablement tools as well as proper execution of marketing campaigns and sales events.
- Develop and maintain sales goals and roadmaps for sales staff along with the Head of Ticket Sales.
- Work with Business Development manager to plan sales events throughout the season at games, training center, off-site, and utilization of crypto.com arena sales center.

- Demonstrates or has prior Sales Management experience/knowledge

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); and ability to learn required business systems
- Ability to work nights, all events, weekends, events and holidays as required
- Ability to work independently both efficiently and effectively
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education:
- BA/BS Degree (4-year) Communications, Marketing, or Advertising
Experience:
- 4-6 years related work experience
- Experience in the sports and entertainment industries preferred
Pay Scale: $70,000 - $90,000
