About the Job
Manages research, analysis and development of wireless business opportunities for our Northeast Region. Responsible for creating effective wireless business plans to generate more wireless revenue, increase wireless product lines, expand into new and existing markets and improve customer satisfaction. Analyze and monitor wireless business growth and decline, as well as provide possible solutions and new ways to strengthen the company's competitive position within the industry.
This person must be located in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, or West Virginia.
The Business Development Manager for Wireless, Northeast Region will be part of a national team of wireless experts focused on supporting wireless related business opportunities throughout the US. Working with our Wireless Sales Leadership, Business Development Managers for Wireless (BDMs) wireless integrators, manufacturer partners, developing new business, as well as retaining and developing business with existing customers will be some of the responsibilities
Detailed Description:
+ Identifies, evaluates, and develops new wireless business opportunities in order to expand wireless business and increase profitability.
+ Works in tandem with assigned Wireless Inside Specialist
+ Owns and manages pipeline and forecast for wireless inside sales team
+ Responsible for retaining and expanding existing wireless company relationships, wireless product lines or market segments, and soliciting new wireless business from prospective customers and suppliers.
+ Oversees wireless development and research activities to build on company strengths, identifies potential new wireless markets and business opportunities, increases wireless market share, and strengthens company’s competitive position within the wireless industry.
+ Establishes relationships with potential customers and suppliers. Discusses unmet needs, problems, or complaints, and arranges for meetings with appropriate WESCO representatives.
+ Calls on existing or prospective customers within framework of wireless business development call program.
+ Represents company in identifying, evaluating, and negotiating acquisitions, partnerships, alliances, joint ventures, and start-ups in current and new business.
+ Conducts roll out meetings at new, key, and global account customer locations.
+ Leads, develops, and nurtures local implementation teams (LIT).
+ Finds, calculates, and documents cost savings related value add programs.
+ Creates and implements wireless account business development activities including product gap identification, account discovery process, and One-WESCO engagement.
+ Conducts branch, district, and customer wireless training sessions on account and customer processes.
+ Serves as liaison between key suppliers, marketing services, and branch operations.
+ Manage time effectively to achieve specific objectives daily, weekly and month
_(Required Experience/Indicate # of Years)_
+ 3-5 years’ experience selling into carrier network environments, specifically wireless - is a plus
+ 3-5 years’ experience with wireless technologies and working knowledge of the overall wireless industry: in-building cellular (DAS), Private LTE/CBRS, 5G, Small Cells, WiFi, Public Safety, Macro, Towers, Wireless Broadband,
+ 5 years required, 6+ years preferred of financial analysis, sales, negotiation.
