Manual/CNC Machinist - Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm
$25 to $35 per hour DOE!

Qualifications for a Manual/CNC Machinist:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or vocational school preferred and three years prior manual machining related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience using measuring tools to control machining operations such as dial indicators, micrometers, scales, tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools.
- Be able to operate one or more major machines and one or more minor machines.
- The employee must frequently be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Essential Duties will look like:
- Setup and perform machining operations on various metals, castings, forgings, and fabrications.
- Works from "work at machine" schedule on computer system or from verbal instructions from production control.
- Studies blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
- Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers.
- Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
- Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications.
- Able to operate forklift and other lifting devices.
