MANUAL CNC MACHINIST - Spherion

Spherion is recruiting for a skilled Manual CNC Machinist for our client in Groesbeck TX. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating and maintaining manual machining equipment, specifically manual mills and lathes. A successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work independently or collaboratively.

Perks and Benefits:
Monday through Friday schedule, 7AM - 3:30PM
Pay rate is $23 - $26 per hour, depending on experience
PAID WEEKLY!

Responsibilities:
Operate manual lathes and mills to produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to understand project requirements.
Set up and adjust machinery for different tasks, ensuring optimal performance and precision.
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, adhering to strict quality control standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as they arise, applying analytical skills to find effective solutions.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Skills:
Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Education:
High School

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a manual machinist, specifically with manual mills and lathes.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines related to machining operations.
Familiarity with measuring tools and equipment, ensuring precision in work.
