Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled Machinist to join our Clients in the Chicagoland area. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Mazak CNC machinery, primarily Mazak mills. If you possess programming or program editing skills, that would be a significant advantage.
Job Duties:
- Set up and operate Mazak CNC machinery, with a focus on Mazak mills.
- Perform machining operations to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Ensure the accuracy of the finished product through precision measurement tools.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot machine issues.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Machinist, with expertise in Mazak CNC machinery.
- Ability to set up and operate Mazak mills is essential.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
- Familiarity with precision measurement tools.
- Programming or program editing skills is a plus.
- Availability for overtime as needed.
