Position: Manual Machinist

Shift: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Location: Twinsburg, OH

Compensation: $28/hr

About our Client:

Our Client is an industry leading manufacturer of industrial equipment. This company manufactures and engineers everything onsite, which allows them to oversee a project start to finish and not have to outsource any of the work. They are a family owned business and everything is proudly made in the USA. The company is growing and looking to add skilled and experienced machinists to the team. Many of their employees have worked at the company for decades and this role is open due a long-time machinist retiring.

Manual Machinist role:

The Manual Machinist must have expertise in milling and drilling of large weldments. Familiarity with CNC machining, Boring mills, Planer mills and Manual machining is required. The Manual Machinist plays a critical role in impacting precision, quality and production in the machining operations.

Manual Machinist responsibilities:

• Set-up and operating CNC and Manual milling machine for the production of large weldments.
• Execute precisions machining of components based on engineering blueprints.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accuracy in machining processes.
• Use of various hand tools, measuring instruments and CNC controls to obtain tight tolerances.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and maintain high-quality standards.
• Working with large parts (some as large as 5,000 - 7,000 lbs.

About You:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as a machinist, preferred with expertise in milling and drilling of large weldments
• Formal training in machining or a related field is a plus.
• Proficiency in operating both CNC and manual controls
• Ability to understand engineering drawing and blueprints
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Detail-oriented and takes pride in producing high-quality work
